Training for Evacuation Chair Operatives
The Evacuation Chair Training Course can be delivered on your premises and will equip delegates with the ability to safely use evacuation chairs. The course covers the deployment and handling of an evacuation chair and user. It will also cover advice on the siting of chairs as well as improving awareness of their uses.
The training will:-
- Give delegates the competency and confidence to safely use evacuation chairs.
- Practical and interactive to maximise the effectiveness of the training session.
- Delivered by a highly experienced instructor competent with all types of Evac Chairs.
- Maximum of six delegates to maximise engagement during practical use on the stairwell.
The course is aimed at anyone who may need to use evacuation chairs. Delegates will achieve confidence and the learn the following:
- Know the limitations of the Evacuation Chair
- State the procedure to be adopted if an emergency evacuation is required
- Have a full working knowledge of the operation of the chair
- Demonstrate their ability to use the chair in a realistic scenario
